Yes indeed it is, the 4 stroke was special, didn't expect to ever see their 2 stroke model & with original grass box, a great find.

Its an 18/2 Automo (18in cut two stroke) made by F Mitchell of Nottingham mid/late 1930's.

The 2 stroke also available in 16in, plus a four stroke in 18in & 22in, also bowling green model with alloy rollers reducing the weight considerably.

In addition they made a high grade 16in 8 bladed push roller mower for bowling greens etc, I have only come across a couple of the push mowers & Sean's 18/2 above together with his previously featured 18/4.

There is also the earlier 1920's Mitchell based on a JP Super chassis, again very few seen.

All in all very rare mowers & no doubt only sold in small numbers.

Brochure entry of the 18/2 below........

It's not unlike a Qualcast 16 - I've seen at least one other mower very like the 16 as well, from yet another manufacturer. I do wonder whether there was an itinerant designer back in the 1930s!
