Hi

i have another question, i hope not to stupid

my atco balmoral  cylinder blade is sharp cause it cuts paper, but when doing the lawn he doesn't cut a lot of grass

most of it is just pushed down, cut height is 2.5

the front roller is the wooden one , i can also place the side wheel kit and remove the front roller, will this help ?

my wife thinks it's due the wooden front roller , she says it push the gras already down and so the blade goes over it ?

thanks you for any input on my questions

regards belgium

If the grass is too long the machine will tend to push some over  - try going back over the badly cut row in the opposite direction.  Until you have got the grass down to "cylinder mower" length using the side wheels will certainly help. As an experiment try slowly pushing  the mower for a metre or two without the forward drive engaged so as to get more cuts per metre.
