Although these pages describe the restoration of a hand mower, much of the information is also relevant for motor mowers. 

The main difference, of course, is the engine.  We hope to add a special section on engine restorations later. In general, if the engine runs, the best option is to leave well alone. In the meantime, our database of mower engine ignition timing settings may be useful.
