MOWER COLOURS

One of the questions we are asked the most is the correct colour to use when restoring a particular mower.

This section provides information on the correct colours to use based on the international NCS standard.

This is a new section and we are adding to the list all of the time. Information is only added after it has been checked and verified by at least two members of the Club to help ensure accurate colour matches.

We cannot guarantee that the colours specified are an exact match to the original "ex-factory" colours. We only list machines where it has been possible to check original paintwork against appropriate colour "swatches". However, the colour of paint can change slightly over the time spans involved.

RESTORATION

Many people who contact the Club are seeking advice on how to preserve or restore their old lawn mowers.

This section provides basic advice on restoration techniques by following a project to restore a vintage hand mower.
