Over optimistic?

Recently Dick volunteered to help mow grass at Ampthill Park, Bedfordshire, so took along son Alan's circa 1895 "Archimedean" as being in keeping with Ampthill's Tudor/Victorian origins. However, despite what looks like a good start, perhaps he might have been a little over optimistic to think that his efforts with said machine might be up to the task !
