Hello All

Trying to date this Shay Rotoscythe for a contact, can't remember seeing one with this type of fuel tank, I assumed they always had the tank built in to the frame?? Awaiting details of cutting width.

 

Can anyone shed any lightb on date etc.

I have answered my own question, looks to be mid 1950's, have found an ad with the tank in the position described.
