Electrolysis rust removal

I have not tried the method myself but fellow forum member wristpin has achieved some good results with it and he will no doubt chip in to this thread.

It was this article that got me interested in the process and I've found a modified version useful for cleaning the interiors of rusty fuel tanks.

It's widely used (and liked) amongst the old woodworking tool types.

There are faster methods, but electrolysis is pretty much guaranteed to do no damage.
