Just a restoration out for interest!!

Just a quick topic to show anyone that may be interested in my recent completed Webb Witch restoration. Hope you like it!!

The new handles and front rollers were turned by a local wood turner using English oak he had salvaged from a local church. The paint was applied using a brush. The bearings and bushes were replaced. The decal came from Australia. Feel free to ask any questions, thanks.

Looks very nice. Is it going to be a worker or a looker?

Which paint did you use? And did you thin it in any way?

Hello David.

Apologies for slow response. The mower has been used in anger since its restoration but to be honest its a bit small for my lawn. I still enjoy pushing it around though. I am in the middle of restoring a 17" Suffolk Punch Pro so I would imagine once thats up and running my Webb Witch will become a show item.

The paint I used was made by a company called Farmline. Its an enamel finish. I didnt thin it down. Just straight on from the tin with a good quality brush.

Thanks for your interest.

Geoff

Bit late to the party with this one, but how did you get the metal roller looking so good? I have just picked one of these up today and searched google for inspiration. I’m certainly inspired now!
