After having my qx cassette blade unit sharpened the click or detent on the blade adjustment on one side is missing . Does anyone know where I would find this part as a spare?

Is it not the responsibility of who ever did the grinding to return it in a serviceable condition.?Presumably lying on his workshop floor? What has the guy got to say for himself?

Cant remember but is it possible to install those upside down  - could it be there but just not engaging?

It is but it's been a while since it was sharpened. Is there a diagram of the qx unit anywhere that would help me see how it works?

Edit, looks like I need one of these Link

If you look at the attached image you will see a black cylindrical piece splined to the end of the adjusting screw. It has serrations on its face . Then there ie a thin Teflon anti friction washer and then the thicker white block with serrations that is captive in the bearing carrier. Turning the screw rotates the black part against the white block , so giving the click adjustment.

It is possible to assemble  the white block back to front giving a “ click free adjustment.

That's exactly what had happened . The white bit was flipped over. I've reversed it and have a click again. Many thanks.
