I am just wanting to introduce myself to the club as a new member. My name is Jake and I have been fascinated by lawnmowers as far back as I can remember. However, being based in the Pacific Northwest, my exposure has been primarily postwar American manufacturers. I have around fifty pieces to my lawn and garden collection with around half of those being mowers and the other half being OM Scott fertilizer spreaders. I look forward to contributing to your club and someday hope to see your museum.

Hello and welcome, as gtc has said that is an interesting collection.

What is the make of the mower in the second photo, It looks a bit of a handful with the trailed seat and the side cutters, are they original and how are they driven ?

If you search locke triplex via your search engine, you will find that youtube has some videos of the machine in operation.Yet again nice collection.

The side cutters on the Locke Triplex are run by two small bone shafts that behave similarly to cv axles on "rough" terrain. Quite a clever design. I believe the sulky seat was made from scratch.

Welcome to the forum. I see you got at least one Bolens in your collection and a rare model too. I have 9 Bolens in my collection.
