Atco Standard Toolkit

Enter a word or two to search the forum section and click the Search Forum button.

Hi all,

My first post! And it is a plea for help. I am trying to piece together a complete tool kit for my Atco Standard, rivet counting I know but please humour me. I have a copy of the part list which specifies all of the components of the tool kit of which I now have most. However a few things are elusive.... can anybody help? I am missing the square drive box spanner & tommy bar and the screwdriver.

The screwdriver is probably the easiest to source I just need to know how big it is. The square drive box spanner though....anybody have any clues? I assume that the square drive is for the Senspray carb? I have been scanning the evil auction site for quite a while (read years!) and nothing has turned up.

Regards

Not rivet counting at all - it's interesting that the mowers are so readily available yet the items in the tool box are so often neglected and never collected.

I've been through a similar process myself a few years back and I must say I never found one of the box spanners. I'm not sure if this was ever marked up as Atco like the open-ended spanners but if it was it would at least be easy to spot them in a box of junk. My guess is that they were not. They must be very small.

The screwdriver was I believe for use with the engine and as such you should be looking for one with Villiers on it. Mine came from eBay a few years back and should be reasonably easy to track down with a bit of patience. It's around 9" long (I'll need to check).
