Atco
I've come into possession of an Atco '1748' (my understanding - 17" 1948?) but I can find no info on this site or elsewhere..
it has what I believe is the Villiers MK IV C engine, and I will hopefully be able to get it going imminently.
For a 17" it is a large, very heavy machine with enormous metal front rollers.
Does anyone know anything more about it?
Many thanks,
Will

Sorted, it's the same machine
Sorted, it's the same machine as on the page copied, with a slightly later engine number of 594/6574. It's by far the heaviest 17" I've ever come across.
Annoyingly (but perhaps not surprisingly) I've diagnosed a duff coil.
Is anyone able to confirm the engine is a Mk 8C of 147cc ?

Thanks very much both, that is indeed the machine and gives the confirmation of engine cc, which is nice.
When ive got it running I'll put it on the lawn and get a photo, it's by no means great condition but is ok and I intend it to be a user
thanks again
