As I was unable to attend the annual rally and AGM in Milton Keynes due to Kent being totally dry of all fuel I decided to bring a few of my JP mowers out together with my Atco standard and hold my own small rally. Lined up starting with my small Atco Standard are a JP Super Electric ( I've featured this before and it is the oldest one held in the club ) Next is a JP Monarch with the correct lighter contrasting coloured Grassbox, JP Minor Mk2, JP Mini mower and finally a very special 9" JP Minor which does not indicate a mark. I will feature this mower separately under its own thread as it is has interesting casings and castings. I hope you enjoy the photos.

I was in the same boat as you Sean, sadly unable to attend this year due to uncertainty over being able to get fuel and needing what we had for baby sitting duties in Sheffield and Solihull. I would have brought my JP Mini Mower and Matchless along with my ATCO 1264 push mower which I have just given the lawns a cut with. Not the oldest or rarest ATCO but I am more than impressed with the results it gives. Liked the photos of your JP's and ATCO....I see your cat trying to get in on the action!! Hopefully next year we will both be able to attend the annual get together. Cheers. Rob

Nice display. The little JP Minor is an early pre-war model. The serial number is stamped on the right aluminium bearing cover at the bottom and will start with M or XM; I can then date it for you.

Thanks Henry. Here are some more photos of the little  JP including one showing the serial number.
