Atco Mower Images
I have been approached by the current Atco company's PR team to ask if we can supply any images of Atco models made from the 1920s to the 1960s/70s. In other words, mowers from this period but photographed recently (eg from our collections). If anyone can help please send me copies by email as soon as possible.

Atco did keep records, don't know how good they were, but they were destroyed in a fire.

May I suggest less negativity, the club was formed to promote the collection, preservation and display of lawn mowers & if we are asked to supply images of our much loved machines we should be pleased to help.

My own view is that if this request originated from someone writing a well-overdue comprehensive history of the original Pugh/Atco company and its products, rather than a here today gone tomorrow PR firm hired by the current owner of the brand, then I'd be only too willing to assist any way that I can.
Other Atco owners can make up their own minds.

Have dragged out some of the Atco's from our collection, photographs on way, in these difficult times with all our rally's, shows & events being cancelled it will be great to obtain some positive publicity raising the clubs profile.

Well, that puts an entirely different slant on the request than your initial post that merely stated wanted by their PR team.
Ironic coming from a brand
Ironic coming from a brand that never considered its history important enough to retain records throughout its multiple ownership changes.
If it weren't for wonderful members such as wristpin, there wouldn't be a skerrick of vintage Atco technical/repair information left on earth.
