Edger Thomas Green & Son

Following Hillsiders thread regarding the Ransomes edger I have been doing a bit of digging through my collection & records, whilst I have a reasonable selection of edgers, I see Greens produced one earlier that the 'Handy' which resembled an actual mower with a cutting blade on the side, anyone seen one of these?

Thanks

Interesting to hear about an edger made by Greens it would good if a photo surfaces so give us a idea about the cutting arrangement.

I understand that Lloyds mowers were at one time selling a Lawn Edger that was identical to the Ransomes version.

Dear Mr Hillsider

Dear Mr Hillsider

The Lloyds edger was made by Ransomes under license, the only difference was the plate which said Lloyds, only ever seen one which came our way from an auction some years ago which was nearer enough to our Presidents back yard!
