ATCO rotary mower with Aspera engine - need a carb...

Enter a word or two to search the forum section and click the Search Forum button.

Hi,

I need to get hold of a Dellorto 2013 carb for my ancient ATCO rotary mower, it's the one from the late 1960's.

Are there any carbs available? - can you get a replacement that will fit/work?

Does anyone know where I can get hold of one???

Thank you.

Hi Laine, I'm adding a photo of my Atco rotary, if it's the same motor I presume it'll have the same carb, but happy to take further photos if required. I'm currently advertising this mower for sale and getting a lot of interest, I've got it up for £45.00 but can move on the price, it runs albeit not for a while, the air filter needs attention and there is a slight chip on the plastic edge. Not sure where you are and if you'd be interested.

What mower do you actually have? I have visions of the 4-stroke  wheeled or roller machines - red and cream or green and cream - not the airborne two stroke?

Are you missing the complete carb or is it that you have an "unsolvable" issue with an existing one?

New ones are available - at a price! Several versions of the 2013

Hi - thank you for getting back to me.

It is a green and cream model, 21" cut with the 'automatic' height lever on the right-hand side.  I assume it is from the late 60's?

I have a carb on the mower, but it won't start - I have fitted a new coil and can get it to fire/start straight away with petrol down the plug hole.  I have cleaned the carb but can't get the main jet out.

Any advice would be very welcome.

Can’t get main jet out. Not unusual . It needs a hollow ground parallel tip screwdriver and often heat. How good or bad is the slot? If it’s chewed up life gets interesting but all is not lost.
