Control cable lube

Possibly old hat to most but posting in case useful to some. I've had on of these for a while to maintain motorbike and cycle control cables. Had the need today on some pretty poor feeding control cables on my mowers, worked a treat.

Trick is to make sure you get the whole outer sheath end as well as the cable into the rubber clamp and it won't leak, or not much anyway. I use thinner clear oil like hair clipper oil or sewing machine oil.

Probaly available from bicycle shops as well, cheap thing which isn't a gimmick for a change

Oil is fine for metal to metal cables but can swell the "plastic" liner on some. For those I use "rubber and nylon" silicone spray.
