Mills pin tool

Hi all! I’m rebuilding my Suffolk colt after a very nice sharpening and wondering if anyone can suggest a good tool to drive back in the mills pin that keeps the cylinder in place? I’ve tried to just use a hammer and it’s now stuck in but not yet through.

Do you think these will help?

also what should I oil and what should I grease?? Cylinder bearings I assume need grease and chain needs oil? What about the rear roller??

Thanks in advance!

Just the job and the set will be useful in the future.  I’d leave the pin dry as you want it to stay put for the foreseeable future. Remember to support the shaft so that you are not hammering against the cutting cylinder bearing or the roller bush .

A bit of grease on the cylinder bearings will help stick them into place during assembly and help seal the oil in during routine maintenance  as the steel seals are fairly rudimentary.
