Oil for 2 strokes Villiers Engine

Hello everybody,

I have my "new" light Atco waiting for a nice garden run but before that, I am wondering what oil is suitable for the mixture ?

I have already read that synthesis oil is not good for old engines but don't know if it applied only for 4 strokes or also for 2 strokes like Villiers Engine ?

By default, I am thinking about small oil tank sold for modern 2 strokes motorcycle but I am  worried about the long term result.

Use an oil similar to that specified at the time of manufacture - a straight non/low detergent SAE30 or 40. Modern synthetics are for modern engines!
