Wondering how this chaincover has to be painted and lettered. Looks as if it must be black, but don't understand black lettering as found . Also not word Ransomes but only Ipswich England ?  Anybody with picture of original cover ?

Many thanks for picture.   Will make my cover like the one on  leftside of your picture. Is the lettering painted or sort of stickers or water transfers?
