MP Mower Pusher: In Action

The MP Mower Pusher was made during the 1920s to convert ordinary hand mowers into motor-driven machines. Special brackets were supplied with the MP Mower Pusher to enable it to connect to the hand mower and push it along. The driver sat on top and steered the mower.

The device was not very successful as it cost more than some of the most popular motor mowers of the period. This is one of the reasons why so few have survived. This example is being used without pushing a mower but instead has some large wheels at the front that allow the driver to steer it.
