Morrison Drive Chain
Hi, I have a Morrison lawnmower and broke the chain that drives the roller that moves the mower.
Question. Where can i buy a new chain, or chain links to replace the old missing links?
I read that Ransom Marquise were similar if that helps?
thanks

Just go to your local bearing
Just go to your local bearing and transmission products factor with a sample of the chain. I think that they will recognise it as being 110038 for the chain itself , 110036-26 for the connecting link and 110038-30 for a crank link if needed to create an odd link count. There were some similarities between the older Morrison Olympic machines and the the Ransomes Marquis but Marquises used standard 1/2" BS chain.
Try your local bearing and
Try your local bearing and transmission product factor, possibly - http://www.bearingsanddrives.net/
Take a sample .They will possibly recognise the chain as 110038 with 110038-26 for the connecting link, and should you need a crank link to achieve an odd link count, 110038-30.
The older red Morrison Olympic machines had a bit in common with the older Ransomes Marquises but the Marquis used a standard 1/2" BS chain.
Any good bearing factor
Any good bearing factor should be able to identify your chain and supply a new one.
Also, Ransome Marquis's aren't similar to a Morrison, it is the other way around, Morrison's were made under license from Ransomes.
