Hello

I am looking for a service/repair centre which could repair my Ransomes Fourteen Mk 1 - and preferably collect/return it. I am in the RH9 postal area (Godstone, Surrey); there are several businesses locally but I have no idea if any of them have experience of fettling 1960s mowers.

I though it worth posting to ask if anyone might know of or be able to recommend somewhere near me?

Hi Patrick. I have had numerous vintage push mowers serviced/repaired by John Gregory at 'The Old Lawnmower Company' who are based near Tring and have always been more than pleased with their work. I live in Shropshire so it's a couple of hours drive away but in my opinion, well worth the journey. Looks like Tring is approx just over an hour away from you. I don't know if John does collection/delivery but might be worth asking. They advertise in our club magazine 'Grassbox' and they do have their own website. Cheers. Rob
