Mitchell Automo

It was interesting to see a Mitchell Automo was auctioned recently, an excellent example of the two stroke, complete with a good solid grass box, the mower looked to be possibly, in original condition, advertised as a 16in, but the design was very similar to the 18/4 Automo four stroke that was featured on the website in 2020 & shown below. 

Certainly some images of the 16/2 model have a simpler design, one feature being the fuel tank above engine similar to the Atco HY, with the 18/2 being very similar to the 18/4.

Hopefully it will have been acquired by a club member and we will get to see it at some stage.

What next, perhaps a Mitchell push mower will turn up, have only seen a couple to date.
