Not sure if you can see this pic or not!
Personally, it looks beyond saving to me, but I will check it out before giving up altogether.

Does anyone have, or know where I can get, manuals for the engine and the mower please?

Looks a bit sad. Is that a hole punched up through the front of the deck?  If it is, check for a bent crank to go with it, although Hayter’s slip disc crank preserver usually prevents that, but the missing bolt from the engine cowling might be a sign of vibration. So before tearing into it, check the crank, make sure that there’s oil in the sump, and add some fresh fuel and see if it will fire. 

There’s lots of information for both the machine and the engine on the Internet .

Thank you for the advice. I will have a proper look at the hole before doing anything drastic.

I've tried searching for info but not sure I'm reaching the right place(s).

Any links you could give me please?
